Beth Jones

Instructor

Beth Jones is a graduate of the improv program at Dallas Comedy House, where she first fell in love with improv and the vibrant local comedy scene. She has since worn many hats within the comedy community (but never a cowboy hat—she looks terrible in those) and fully believes that comedy can make you a better person. Beth loves sharing the joy of comedy with others, whether it’s in the classroom or on the stage. Beth currently performs with longform improv teams Sunglow (Dallas Comedy Festival, Kansas City Improv Festival, OKC Improv Festival, Baltimore Improv Festival) and idk lol (Dallas Comedy Festival), and with DCC’s musical club team Rodgers & Hammertime. She also co-produces Indie Night, a quarterly improv event celebrating the local DFW comedy community. When she’s not doing comedy-related things, she enjoys cooking, baking, and eating the things she cooks and bakes. Fun fact about Beth: one of the highlights of her comedy learning journey was taking a sketch writing workshop with one of her comedy idols, Kevin McDonald. (Big fan!)
