What are the prerequisites to take your classes?For all of our Intro or Level 1 labeled classes - none. Any class that has a prerequisite will be spelled out on the registration page. Usually this means we recommend you take an Intro or Level 1 class before signing up for Level 2.

What's parking like?There is free parking all around the training center including a free 5 story parking garage just behind our facility.

How does payment work?Payment must be made at the time of enrollment in order to secure your spot in class. Payment plans are available. Scholarships, volunteer credits, internships, or work-study credits cannot be used retroactively. If you have a balance on your account, please reach out to classes@thecomedyarena.com for payment options.

Who are your teachers?All of our teachers are ensemble members from our main stage shows - you are working with the people actually DOING the shows.

What's your refund policy?All sales are final, however, if you can no longer attend a class, we can often provide you a credit to attend a future class.

Do you offer any accommodations for persons with disabilities?All of our training spaces are currently wheelchair-accessible. For more specific disabilities please reach out to us and we will try to accommodate.

Do you need to audition?Nope!

Is it okay to miss a class?Life happens. Sometimes you have to miss a class for whatever reason. We will do our best to catch you up to speed. If you feel you might miss more than 1 class during the Term, it might be best to attend another Term.

Do the classes ever change?Yes, all the time.

How long are the classes?Most of our series classes run 6 weeks for 2 hours. Some specialty workshops might occur once and last a few hours. It depends on the class. All classes spell out their length and duration.

Do you accept applications or pitches for outside teachers or courses?Not currently. We do offer workshops with special guest artists, but those are special events and arranged by our Education Director.
